Your European degree, handled end to end by one team.
THB Academic Mobility takes Bangladeshi students to universities in Italy and Spain — admission, pre-enrolment, translation, legalisation, visa filing, travel and arrival support, all under one roof.
ইতালি ও স্পেনে পড়াশোনা — বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বাছাই থেকে বিদেশে পৌঁছানো পর্যন্ত সব কাজ এক জায়গায়।
What a typical consultancy outsources, we do in-house.
Most student files fail on paperwork, not on merit. Italy and Spain both demand translated, legalised and perfectly consistent documents — that is exactly where THB is strongest.
Translation under our roof
English, Italian and Spanish translations prepared and managed by THB Human Translation, including authorised Spanish translation where the Embassy of Spain requires it.
Legalisation & DoV / CIMEA
Apostille and MoFA legalisation, embassy attestation for Spain, and the Declaration of Value or CIMEA certificate Italy asks for — tracked to completion.
Portals & appointments
Universitaly pre-enrolment, VFS Global (Italy) and BLS / Embassy (Spain) appointment follow-up and email monitoring, so no slot or deadline is missed.
Genuine-student file building
Study plan, statement of purpose and fund documentation that tell one consistent, honest story to the visa officer.
Pre-departure with THB Go!
Flights, airport pickup, first accommodation booking and health insurance that meets the embassy's conditions — arranged by our own travel division.
Support after you land
Guidance on your permesso di soggiorno in Italy or TIE card in Spain, opening a bank account and finding lawful part-time work.
The two destinations at a glance
Both are Schengen countries with respected universities. The right choice depends on your budget, subject and plans after graduation.

Study in Italy
Historic universities, hundreds of English-taught programmes and some of the lowest public tuition in Western Europe. Income-based regional grants (DSU) can cover fees, meals and even housing for eligible students.
Key facts
- Every degree application goes through pre-enrolment on the Universitaly portal, and the receipt must show your enrolment and tuition fees.
- Your previous qualifications need a Declaration of Value (DoV) from the Embassy of Italy, proof that you applied for one, or a verifiable CIMEA certificate.
- Student visas are filed only through VFS Global. VFS contacts registered students by email — the same address used on Universitaly — to book the appointment.
- Funds must be shown with 12 months of bank statements, from you or an eligible sponsor (such as a parent), with the source of funds explained.
- You need accommodation proof for at least 30 days and travel insurance valid across the Schengen area for your whole stay.
- Marriage, birth and other civil documents must be in English and apostilled by the Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
- Within 8 days of arriving you apply for your permesso di soggiorno at the local questura.
- After graduating you can apply for a 12-month job-search permit or convert directly to a work permit.
The Embassy fixes pre-enrolment visa deadlines every year, and late starters often miss the intake. Begin 8–12 months before September.

Costs & scholarships
Tuition
Public universities charge comparatively low fees, often linked to family income, with reductions or full waivers for eligible students. Private universities cost more.
Living costs
Smaller cities are noticeably cheaper than Milan or Rome. We prepare a city-by-city budget with you during assessment.
Regional grants (DSU)
Income-based regional study grants can cover tuition, meals and sometimes housing. We prepare the family income documents these applications need.
Study in Spain
Spain's immigration regulation in force since May 2025 made it one of Europe's most student-friendly destinations: work rights are built into the student permit, the permit covers your whole programme, and the path to work after graduation is clearer.
Key facts
- Long-stay student visas are filed at the Embassy of Spain in Dhaka; the appointment is booked through the Spain Visa Application Centre (BLS).
- The admission letter must be addressed to the Embassy, in Spanish and English, confirming full-time enrolment and showing the fees you have paid.
- Educational certificates must be legalised by MoFA and attested by the Embassy of Spain.
- All documents must be translated into Spanish by an authorised translator.
- Health insurance must come from an insurer authorised in Spain and cover all healthcare without limitations for the whole stay.
- Applicants over 16 need a police clearance certificate from the Ministry of Home Affairs, legalised and translated, issued within one year.
- A medical certificate from a Bangladeshi hospital is required, confirming no disease of serious public-health concern.
- Higher-education graduates can stay to look for work or move straight to a work permit with a job offer.
Choose a degree programme rather than a language-only course: language-course students cannot convert their permit into a work residence after their studies.

Costs & funding
Tuition
Public university fees are set by each region and programme; private universities and business schools charge more but often offer merit discounts.

Scholarships
Many universities offer merit scholarships or early-payment discounts for international students. We check every option on your shortlist.

Frequently asked
Can you guarantee my student visa?
No. Only the embassy decides. We make sure your file is complete, accurate and consistent — which is what gives a genuine student the best chance.
How much money do I need to show?
For Italy, the official minimum for 2026–27 is €10,179.85 for the first year of study. For Spain, the requirement is 100% of IPREM — about €600 per month, or roughly €7,200 for a year. In practice, a stronger and well-explained fund history improves your file.
Do I need IELTS?
For Italy, the Embassy's checklist asks for IELTS with an overall score of at least 6.0 for English-taught study (or B2 for Italian), unless the university has already verified your language on Universitaly. For Spain, the requirement is set by each university; Spanish-taught courses need Spanish proficiency.
Who can sponsor my funds?
For Italy, the Embassy accepts your own funds or an eligible sponsor such as a parent, with 12 months of statements and the source of funds explained. For Spain, a family sponsor provides an affidavit, six months of bank statements and two years of tax documents. We check the current rules with you before preparing statements.
Can I work while studying?
In Italy, up to 20 hours a week and 1,040 hours a year. In Spain, higher-education students can work up to 30 hours a week without a separate work permit.
What is a DoV or CIMEA certificate?
Italy requires proof of the value of your Bangladeshi qualifications: either a Declaration of Value from the Embassy of Italy, proof that you applied for it, or a verifiable CIMEA certificate. We tell you which suits your timeline and prepare the documents.
Why are translation and legalisation so important?
Spain requires every document in Spanish by an authorised translator and certificates legalised by MoFA and the Embassy. Italy requires apostilled civil documents in English. Errors here cause delays and refusals — which is why we keep this work in-house.
Can I stay after graduation?
In Italy, graduates can apply for a 12-month job-search permit or convert to a work permit. In Spain, higher-education graduates can apply to stay and look for work, or move to a work permit once they have a job offer.
When should I start?
Ideally 8–12 months before the September/October intake. Admissions, Universitaly, DoV, legalisation, translation and visa appointments each take time, and the deadlines are fixed.
